Our member, Kelli Nowers, is the Executive Director of AWAKE (Advocates for Women’s and Kids’ Equality), a grassroots nonprofit organization with a mission to advocate for the advancement of women and kids in Tennessee. They seek to disrupt systems that reinforce gender inequality by focusing our efforts on youth-centered education initiatives and policy change.
